The schedule for the Amherst NH Tree Lighting Weekend is scheduled for December 9, 10 and 11, This is a great event, come out and enjoy the season with your Amherst NH friends and neighbors.
Friday, December 9
630 PM, The Amherst Village Tree Lighting Ceremony, with Boy Scout Troup 22 with Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire and Hot Cocoa; Also Popcorn by the Amherst First Baptist Church
7 PM, Lions Club Spaghetti Dinner, walk to Congregational Church Community Room, open to call.
Saturday, December 10
9-11 AM Breakfast with Santa at the Congregational Church Community Room, by the Newcomers, tickets $6 each and only sold in advance. Call Jessica Steele 672-2252.
3-5 Santa arrives by Fire Truck at the Amherst PD, FD complex; also Amherst PD Open house for Children Protective IDS and Fingerprinting
Sunday, December 11
8-11 AM Pancake Breakfast at the Amherst Fire Department
1-2 Amherst Town Band and Souhegan High School concert at the Congregational Church
3-430 Congregational Church Choir Concert at the church
2-4 Warm Up, Cookies and Cocoa by Team Earley at the Congregational Church
6 PM Souhegan Valley Chorus Concert at Souhegan High School
