There seems to be a movement asking us to spend our money in the smaller stores in the communities in which we live. I highlighted the Country Christmas in Parowan yesterday, so today I thought that I should include the happenings in Cedar City!

Cedar City is also offering a great opportunity to shop small and local this Saturday with the The Fall & Winter Market held indoor at 509 N 200 W, Cedar City held 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Items that will be sold include fresh locally grown vegetables and fruits, Artisan cheeses, bread, jams & jellies, fresh eggs and hot food vendors. Vendors are welcome, (Must have licenses if required). Call with questions 435-531-6271 or 435-559-2791.

I like the idea of shopping small and locally.The Fall and Winter Market in Cedar City sounds like it has a lot to offer in the way of variety. Plus, it makes sense to shop locally instead of wasting gas going to places outside of the local market. I think we should all support our local communities and get to know the local merchants on a personal level.

I really like the float! There's a lot of creativity that went into that one!
