It was a beautiful balmy night and people showed up in droves for the 20th Annual Sioux Falls Parade Of Lights in downtown Sioux Falls. Here are some photos that I took to share with those that did not get to go! Rosalie, I'm so happy to get to live the Sioux Falls lifestyle vicariously through you! The Parade of Lights was always one of my favorite events over the holidays growing up!
Didi- It was extra zany this year with the weather being so balmy too! That and it was the 20th anniversary of the event so there was fireworks! I am in the process of uploading some videos of the event on my Youtube channel now if you want to see some more!
John- How is it going out in the Q? Our weather here was like 55 degrees last night for the parade and now today we woke up to about 32! That and there is like typhoon speed winds! I love SD weather it is just as quirky as me!
This was some big parade. There were lots of entries in the event. Looks like it must have taken about an hours. That is worth coming out for. I will go an check out your video on you tube.
Kathy-That was not near all of it either! I am still working on editing the video that goes with it! I did still shot and video of the event!
I didn't realize that this was such a large parade until I saw all those photos. This looks like a pretty professional event and a great turnout as well. Thanks for sharing.
Doug- The pictures I took were just in between the videos that I filmed! My first filming with my new camera actually! So it was much longer then that! Click on the YouTube button if you are really bored and see my handiwork!
