What's Outside Your Window?
It is always fun to look out the windows of our porch (aka office) as it is mostly windows. You never know what you might see--birds of all kinds, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, skunks, and many other critters. But one of my favorite sights is the white tail deer that we see pretty much weekly. This Thanksgiving we had a hungry young deer stop by, but fortunately he wasn't too interested in the turkey--he thought the vinca sounded much more appetizing!
I grew up in a home where we often looked out our kitchen window and were staring at our neighbors horse staring in. A memory you don't forget.

Hi Erv - My wife's uncle once had a moose look into the window and watch him shave (though that was in Maine, not Connecticut)! You never know who might wander by.

What an adorable sight! We have a herd of deer that occupy the greenbelt area known as the American River Parkway, a couple blocks from my home. But I can't see them in my yard.
Don't let Dale Baker see that or he'll be serving it for Christmas dinner.

Hi Chris! I'm afraid that if deer came up to my office window all the time, I wouldn't get any work done. I would spend the entire day just watching them! Great picture!
Hi Rose - It is tempting. : ) The chipmunks and their antics can also be very distracting.

A very sweet deer but I hear they can make a mess in yards. I have skunks and opossums but nothing great like deer or squirrels. Thanks for sharing.
Awww, what a cutie, Chris. We have deer lately in our backyard. There are 2 young ones that play and chase each other all over--so sweet.
