Did you ever have a case of Email Sickness?

"Doctor Doctor tell me the news, I got a bad case of the email blues...."

Did you ever have a case of Email Sickness? On normal days, I get 10-30 emails daily (besides this, there is another 30-80 or more that go directly to the JUNK MAIL folder and another half dozen or so goes to my VIEW LATER folder.  View later is set by "RULES". 

The day after thanksgiving, I had a surprise.  10AM I checked email and only two emails for the morning!  Was everyone at the Black Friday events?  I usually check email several times a day.  Well, on Friday, the ultimate bewilderment....I checked 5 times before noon and only got 5-6 emails.  By the evening, there were less than a dozen emails.  I got withdrawals!  Where's all that email I normally get?  For you ActiveRain members, besides AR, have you become dependent on email for your communication 'fix' or your need for 'contact exchange'?  What do you do to get unhooked?  Do you need or want to be unhooked?

NOTE: by Saturday, it was back to nornal.
