Home Stager with CM Staging Solutions Inc

Thomson Condo Pool in TorontoVery often I receive calls from people who are looking to sell their condo and would like to stage it themselves in order to get it ready for list.  I understand the need to save money and with many condominiums currently still offering one of the most economical options in downtown Toronto. The following are a few things to consider when selling a condo in the Toronto Market.

1.       Find a knowledgeable realtor who is familiar with your building.

2.       Choose an appropriate price for your condominium.  That requires you to sit down with a realtor and look at what the condos in your building have sold for previously.  This is when you and your agent should come up with a strategy on how you want to approach your marketing plan.

3.       Bring in a professional stager.  As the number of condominiums coming to market grows so does the competition.   And with increased competition, the more likely your competition will be staging their condos and so should you. This is why it becomes increasingly necessary to hire a professional stager.  Remember staging is one of the rare processes where a mediocre or hasty job can actually do damage to your investment.

When it comes to selling any property, including a condominium it is always important to consider your competition.

4.       Don’t ignore the number of condos coming on the market and the reputations and styles associated with them.  Hence the necessity for why you should hire a professional home stager, for example if you are selling any of the following condominiums in Toronto, here are a few concepts that should be incorporated in to your staging:

Toronto Condo Marketa.       Minto Condominiums – An important factor to consider and something you should be selling is the fact of whether your condo is LEED-certified.  Developers invest a lot of money in providing a greener environment for their residents and it is definitely something that should be sold to potential buyers.

b.      Tridel Condominiums – Also another large builder providing greener living for buyers with LEED-certification.

c.       Liberty Market Lofts – a live-work product that will appeal to particular clientele.

d.      Monarch – With award winning floor plans and a very high repeat referral rate, although these condos can sell themselves you still want to get the right price so don’t get cocky theses condos should be showcased to their full potential.

At the end of the day when buying a condominium, it is important to get the most from your investment so when you do go to market you want to do it right, especially in the Toronto Market.
