Thanksgiving is one of the few times a year that my entire family gets together. Coming from a rather large family it's hard for EVERYONE to be able to be there at every event. But Thanksgiving is one of the holidays that is a MUST. My parents love Thanksgiving and they love being able to have the whole family there together. There are so many of us that there is not enough room in the house for everyone to sit together to eat.
So we clear out the garage, set up the folding tables and chairs, and eat and eat and eat.

My Mom is one of those kind of people that gets joy from giving joy. She knows everyone's favorite dish and makes sure that she prepares that dish....just for that particular person. Since she loves giving and wants to make sure everyone enjoys themselves...a few years ago she started a new tradition at our Thanksgiving get together's. She rents one of those huge inflatable slides for the kids to play on.
She didn't realize the BIG kids would enjoy it as much as the little kids. Yes, that's me doing the slide with my daughter Brandi. Too bad I don't have audio to go along with the pics..ha
My 2 sisters and I always have to slide together...at least once. The kids think it's hilarious!
Thanksgiving is one of my families favorite holidays. Thanks Mom for the great meal, the togetherness, the laughter and the memories to last a lifetime. The slide was one of the greatest ideas you ever came up with!
What does this have to do with Real Estate? Absolutely nothing! But we all need to be thankful for our families and I just wanted to share mine with you.
