PROCRASTINATION IS, IMO, THE BIGGEST BARRIER TO REAL ESTATE AGENT SUCCESS!!Agent Bob

Jeffery offers good advice.
I'll offer some advice too:  Set goals for success!!

Most readers would agree with his thoughts.  I agree too.

That said, the next question is "what to do".   Or, better yet, "what NOT to do".

DON'T PROCRASTINATE!

GET STARTED TODAY!!  Agent

Set a goal.  Without a goal, there is no roadmap.
Make a list of tasks and check it twice,
THEN. . . .

JUST TO IT!!

Good Wednesday to you,

There are many of us that don't do some of the things that we would like because of the time that it will take to do it.

It doesn't matter if it's for business such as implementing a particular type of marketing or learning how to use new software.

Or it could be personal - learning a language, straightening up and cleaning out papers, spring cleaning.

Time happens whether you work with it or not, why not work with it?

Here is the inspiration for the day. Have a great Wednesday.

"Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it.  The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use."

    ~ Earl Nightingale

With Enthusiasm,

Good morning Lenn,

Setting goals is a must but if you allow procrastination your goals will never be obtained. Goals are road maps and the best way to follow that road map is get going and start yur engine!! Fear can be paralyzing ....if we allow it!

I admit to a bit of procrastination and it is for that reason I write down things to accomplish and cross them off. It helps me stay focused!

Lenn, this brings to mind (and sparks a blog) a friend who encouraged me to go to college after my divorce.  I was 32.  I said, "I'll be 36 before I finish."  She said, "You'll be a 36 year old college graduate.  Or...be a 36 year old mimimum wage worker."  I heard her and thankfully, with extra hours and some extra credits for life experience, I earned that degree when I was 35!

Take the first step.  AMEN!

Dorie.  I agree.  One can't sit and wait for things to happen.

Gita.  Just a gentle reminder.

Gary.  That is a time proven way to get things done.  Make a list.

Mariam.  Absolutely.  Just do it.

Nice combination of the Nike..."just do it" and Santa..."making a list and checking it twice"! :) This time of year it's easy to put things off until January, but that puts us so far behind when the new year does begin. Keep on moving forward and doing what we need to get done.

Do it.

Check it off.

No job is ever done.....until the checking off is done.

That is much of the fun.

The hardest proscrastination hurdle is the good old:

I don't have time to complete that task now, so I'll start later.

I know a shrink who used to say that reluctance to get started now is the greatest cause of failure ... of all kinds.

So maybe Nike (and we all) should say:

Just get started now!
