In my opinion, the best happy hour in Crown Hill is at the Wild Mountain Cafe. It's a homey venue, on 85th just off 15th Avenue Northwest. It is an old converted house and still has the room dividers between the bar and multiple dining areas. It is welcoming with a fireplace, colorful decor, hardwood floors, and friendly staff. They support local artists by featuring their work. The building itself is a work of art with the painted porch columns and many special touches and embellishments. It is truly a neighborhood favorite and a foodies paradise!
There is a beautiful garden planted out front. You can tell someone put a lot of time and thought into it. The house is set back a bit from the street. If you aren't paying attention you could drive right by it! Luckily, there is plenty of nearby parking available if you are not within walking distance. In addition to being a great happy hour and a fantastic restaurant in general, they have an amazing, AMAZING breakfast menu! If you do happen to make it in for breakfast I highly recommend the eggs Benedict.
As the best happy hour in crown hill, the Wild Mountain Cafe features amazing $5 appetizers such as their catfish sammy, Greek goddess salad, and an amazing black bean veggie burger. The nachos are incredible. In fact, I don't think I've tried anything on their menu that I didn't like! You can't possibly make a poor choice.
They also have $3 well liquor and tap beers, and $5 mojitios and margaritas. There are many other drink specials depending what night you come it. My favorite bartender there is Laura, be sure to say hi!
Stop by Crown Hill's best happy hour from 4:00pm-6:30pm any night of the week - except Tuesday - they're closed.
