Welcome in the beauty of the holiday season with the Olde Golden Christmas Candlelight Walk. Everyone will gather on December 2^nd at the Foothills Art Center, located just east of Downtown on Washington Ave. Don’t forget to grab your candle from home or you can purchase a candle or bell at the Foothills Art Center.

The Candlelight Walk will start by walking down Washington Ave into the heart of downtown Golden. There will be caroling, free photos with Santa, free admission to the Golden History Museums and more!! Each block will be lit as the group passes by in the Candlelight Walk as you make your way to the Visitor’s Center. There, the Mayor will light the Christmas tree and local business will provide beverages, cookies and entertainment.

Welcome to children of all ages, the Candlelight Walk will have plenty to do, see, and make the best of memories. Bring your fiercest Scrooge or Grinch to see the live reindeer in the parking lot of the Golden Visitor’s Center. Afterwards, take a stroll around Clear Creek or find that special gift in one of Golden’s shops. Admission and parking are free! It’s time to dress warm and festively and see the beauty of Golden’s Candlelight Walk!
