What day of the week is it?

I was amused by a friend who got her license about 6 months ago. We were talking about getting together for lunch and she kept getting her days mixed up. She said.."Now that I'm in Real Estate and working weird schedules, I can't keep up with what day it is"..She continued, "I must be getting old and forgetful" Prior to real estate she had been in a M-f schedule.

I laughed and said that I had had the same experience when I got into real estate. If you're used to a corporate job of working Monday-Friday and having the weekend off, it can be an adjustment.

Sometimes when I work through the weekend, my body expects that about WEDNESDAY, it should time for a weekend!

Let me say...I do not work seven days a week, yearround, but we all know that when business knocks, we need to answer.

Have you ever had a hard time adjusting to a REAL ESTATE schedule??

I am.  My kids told me just this weekend that I must love my job because I'm always doing it!  That's not entirely true, but that's their perception.  My husband suggested I pick one day of the week where I'm not prospecting or working it!  (Of course, I wouldn't ignore any calls). I'm considering it...

I think the hard time is adjusting to a normal schedule, the real estate schedule is easy compared to the regimented schedule of a 9-5 the only time i find people have a problem with a real estate schedule is when they dont plan their time effectively and run around at a moments notice.
