Olde Golden Christmas Parade
Starting Saturday, December 3rd bring the whole family out for the Olde Golden Christmas Parade. This parade is held the 3rd, 10th, and 17th to celebrate the festive season with friends, family, neighbors, and the community. Each event starts at 11:00 am and will feature local entertainment, Scout troupes, and more! A very special guest will also be in attendance! (All the way from the North Pole!) Come out, cheer, and support these great groups. Make sure to get their early for a great spot.
After the parade, the fun and excitement continues all around Golden with strolling carolers and musicians, tasty treats from local businesses, and FREE horse-drawn carriage rides. Make sure to bundle up as you stroll along Clear Creek park or around the Colorado School of Mines Campus. No need to go to the mall, as Downtown Golden has shops that are sure to have everything you are looking for. Enjoy the spirit of the holidays with the small town hospitality of Olde Golden.
For more information about other holiday events, visit the Golden Visitors Center. While you are there, drop off your letter in the US Postal Box to Santa! Make sure to get it in before December 13th to give the big man time to answer!
