A Big Texas Merry Christmas!

This card was designed to send to my clients who moved to Texas this year. I had several buyers moving to Texas this year and they all seemed to be interested in anything to do with Texas. Some bought on acreage in the country and others in neighborhoods, but they all loved seeing the horses in the pastures as we were out & about looking for homes.

This is one of my favorite pictures, taken in front of a past listing and I have sort of made this horse famous by using his picture many times. Following are the details:

The picture was from one of my past listings.
I enhanced the photo in Picnik, adding the seasonal color, holly border and even some snow.
Card is a greeting card and will be mailed in an envelope.
I am sending to clients who moved to Texas during the year.

Thanks to this ActiveRain Contest, I now have the Barbara Hensley Collection of Greeting Cards! I was so inspired by this contest that I am developing an entire collection of greeting cards. I will share some of these at another time.

Kim, thank you! I am DONE with the massed produced cards and looking forward to using more and more of these. Using good paper and ink and result in excellent cards.

Judith - yep, we really DO have horses in Texas, even though most of us do not personally own a horse. Enjoy your day in your Texas neck of the woods, Houston, another great place to live!

Barbara- Horses are common in Texas but the snow not so much. However I love when it does snow in Texas until I get out on the roads with all those crazy drivers.
