Boy, that puppy is narrow. Is the camera sideways and capturing the wide angle in sky scraper mode? Turn the video camera sideways and you are on your way. Tripod the pan of the outside, stop, go in and set up next shot, shoot, stop, set up next shot. Edits needed as you can not plod through and get a first take. But good job getting it shot, uploaded and on your way building a real estate video channel.
I also think I want to narrate after the fact but I am not sure how to do that.... It took me 3 oe 4 tries to get that one.... Once I had the wrong number of skylights...I wonder how much the tripod costs....Probably not to much.....Thank you for the feedback!
Congratulations on your first video. You might look on the internet for how to make a homemade stabilizer for the camera. It will take away some of the shakiness. And you might want to write a really cool and creative script that you can follow more or less. First step is the hardest! Can't wait to see your future offerings!
You have narration, not Kenny G and did not waste your sound track. The viewer gets more information in the audio and helps explain what he or she is seeing. If you shoot a pan of outside, and then stop, go around home a step at a time the buyer can see the lot, what I am going to be looking at out by rear deck, out the living room. The videos can save the set up appointment, get there and then a shaking their head sideways because houses too close. The video helps show the home, and weed out the ones that just won't work. If you shoot small loops, you can set up next shot, rehearse what you are going to say. Instead of this is the door, this is the kitchen, they will know what those are. And you can show front door but add, the inside is 3000 square feet, two bathrooms, 4 bedrooms... and then head inside. The dimensions of the living room can be in your audio. Get audio at the property as the sound of your voice in the living room, the accoustics help make the buyer feel like they are at the property. They are. Not dubbed in and a read script because that takes more time and you lose the you are live, at the property experience, connection, engagement that video with audio is so good at providing. I friended you on your You Tube channel. Thumbs up'ed your first but not last video. What camera did you shoot this with?
Good for you. I agree with the first comment. The video is narrow. But who am I to say. I haven't done my first video yet. I'm going to follow this blog and see the comments that come in. The information will be useful to me as well.
Glad you jumped in the world of YouTube Debbie! It will take time and practice to get all the kinks worked out. I was on a roll for a while then I got lazy. My bad. Google will love your YouTube and you will sore in the rankings!
Congratulations on taking action to get your first video. I hope it is the beginning of a new business marketing tool for you.
I hope so....I am sort of wondering if they have a phone stabilizer for my HTC inspire Android?
