Ever had dealings with a “marplot”?

Managing Real Estate Broker with Fathom Realty AR LLC PB00068179

Ever had dealings with a “marplot”?

I know I have and sometimes they are my clients.  I bet when you find the meaning you’ll know someone who has done this to you.  As time goes marching on I know I just know I’ll meet another one of these and I won’t like it.  So without further hesitation the meaning of (mar’ plat) is a person who mars or spoils some plan by officious interference.  So now when writing a contract or listings have you ran into one of these?  What say you?

Wow, the word "officious" makes the other word sound even worse!  And I hate it when someone mars the plot.

We used to refer to these know it all interlopers as "Uncle Tom's." If they did not have a bad word to speak, they just sat there quietly. But als, they would find something negative to say! They are everywhere! Forget about them and Enjoy your day!

James, there you go trying to increase our vocabularies again! Does that qualify you as a marplot?

Have a great day!

Marplot. I like Jay's play on the word, perfect! Someone who "mars the plot". :D
