CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD
I am enjoying spending time with my sweet little four month old grandson. Watching him experience things for a first time is such a wonderful thing. His little eyes will widen when he is introduced to something new.
There are so many lessons for us when we look through the eyes of a child. If we take a minute to really "see" what is around us, we can learn so much. We also then have the ability to see things in a different light.
Here are my lessons of what I learn as I observe a child:
-
The smallest details are often the easiest to overlook yet can provide the most joy and lessons.
-
Take time to truly "observe" things. Study them, feel them.
-
Find joy in the things around yourself. You may find that something very familiar has been overlooked.
-
Learn to laugh more. Marvel in the mundane and hold dear the joy that is all around.
May you see Christmas this year in a renewed way. Enjoy the simple things. Take time to soak it all in.
Merry Christmas my friends!
