Who has the best burger in Arlington, TX? Well this question has become more complicated in the last few months due to In-N-Out Burger and Five Guys Burgers and Fries throwing their hats into the ring. I’ve recently been able to try both In-N-Out and Five Guys and probably by no surprise I liked them both. I think it’s hard to make a burger that’s not good. Of course not only do I like burgers but I just like food in general
So this is what I think. At In-N-Out I had a double-double, animal style. It’s a double cheeseburger and the animal style adds more sauce, pickles, grilled onions and mustard fried into the meat. It was very tasty. I’ll definitely be going back. And I thought their fries were really good too. Another great feature of In-N-Out is that they have really good prices. It surprised me since I figured I’d be paying extra because of the popular In-N-Out name.
At Five Guys I also got a double cheeseburger. I added pretty typical toppings like lettuce, pickles, onions, tomato, relish and mayo. Again, it was a really good burger. I would actually say the flavor of the hamburger patties actually impressed me more than the In-N-Out burger. They’re both really good in their own way of course and as far as an overall rating they would be quite similar to me. And although the Five Guys fries were pretty good, I say the In-N-Out fries stood out to me as being better. Five Guys was more expensive, by the way.
So who has the best burger in Arlington, TX? It’s tough to say. In-N-Out…good. Five guys…good. But the winner is…Whataburger. Yes, Whataburger. Go to your local Whataburger and get a #2 with whatever you want on it, with fries and a Diet Coke or whatnot. Add a hot apple pie and your good to go. Happy eating!
