Barstow Village, over 62 Senior affordable housing lottery ends Friday December 9th at noon!
Have you gotten your application in for the new affordable housing development with 66 units of housing and 77 parking spots with anticipated occupancy for second quarter 2012.
The Hanover Housing Authority is very excited about the 66 new living quarters on the 6.6 acre land area. They are forward thinking with this development and have encouraged the ENERGY STAR compliance along with sustainability amenities of a “green” design in hopes of achieving a LEED Home Silver designation – a great accomplishment!
Do you qualify?
Income requirements: Do you earn less than or equal to 60 percent of the area median income?
The project will offer a range of affordability. The units will be available to households that earn less
than or equal to 60% of the area median income. Eligible incomes will range from $18,930 per year to
$43,320 per year. Effective 2011 HUD incomes limits are:
30% AMI 50% AMI 60% AMI
1 person $20,250 $33,750 $40,500
2 people $23,130 $38,500 $46,260
Projected monthly rents will range from approximately $489 per month to approximately $1,031
for a 1 bedroom unit and it will be approximately $1,234 for a 2 bedroom unit. The rent is fixed and is
based on 30% AMI, 50% AMI or 60% AMI, and it is not a function of the resident’s income
