All I can say is YAHOOOOO!!!!!! I am so happy to hear this news! It's about time!
Our association is one of 5 that will be joining MFRMLS within the next year. Currently the MFRMLS includes the following:
- Bartow Board of Realtors®
- East Polk County Association of Realtors®
- Greater Lake County Association of Realtors®
- Greater Tampa Association of Realtors®
- Lakeland Association of Realtors®
- Orlando Regional Realtor® Association
- Osceola County Association of Realtors®
- West Volusia Association of Realtors®.
The new member associations will include the following:
- Englewood Area Board of Realtors® (joining April 2008)
- Manatee Association of Realtors® (joining July 2008)
- Punta Gorda - Port Charlotte - North Port Association of Realtors® (joining June 2008)
- Sarasota Association of Realtors® (joining Aug 2008)
- Venice Area Board of Realtors® (joining March 2008)
MFRMLS is currently about 32,000 members. With the additional 8,000 members the 5 new associations brings with it will make MFRMLS one of the largest and strongest multiple listing services in the country!
I can't wait for this to happen. We will have access to thousands more listings via our MLS without having to search MLS Advantage (which is a total pain) and without having to join more than one association! How cool is that?!
