What Seller Incentives are Offered by GMAC?

I keep a list (it's very short) and would like to update it. Which lenders / banks are giving sellers financial relocation assistance? Sometimes it's known as seller incentive or cash for keys.

Specifically I am trying to find out what type of Cash 4 Keys program that GMAC offers. Here's the list I started wtih various programs I'm aware of, but couldn't find anything on GMAC.

SELLER INCENTIVE PROGRAMS

  • HAFA - $3,000
  • Bank of America - $2,500 - $5,000
  • Wachovia - $3,000 - $5,000
  • Litton - $3,000 - $5,000
  • Citi - up to $35,000
  • Chase - $20,000 to $35,000 (may be combined with $3,000 HAFA incentive)
  • (TAP) Transition Assistance Program (Keep your Home California program) - up to $5,000 max. (most big banks not participating)

Please post here any banks that have a seller incentive program, or any news you find out about GMAC!

Thank you,

Regina, Chase seems to be offering a very large seller  incentive compared to the other Banks, it seems rather unusual.

SPS offers big cash on some short sales. Add that to your list.

Carlotta, yes Chas and Citi have huge incentives.

Melissa, thanks for the update!  Let me know if you hear anything about GMAC.

Great topic, Carlotta! Are those incentives available for short sales as well? You mentioned about Keep Your California Home. I have HAFA with BofA, they agreed with HAFA incentive, noTAP.

What about tenants in foreclosure with Fannie, they get cash for keys at th eend of the lease? How much?
