Recently my husband and I went on a cruise. It was our first cruise, and we visited the Western Carribean with some friends of ours. We stopped in Montego Bay, Jamaica, WI and then went to the Grand Cayman Islands, and the last stop was Cozumel, Mexico.
While we were on our journey, of course I wanted to see the international real estate available for sale.
In Jamaica, I saw some beautiful homes and the prices were listed in US Dollars. Many of the homes were over $1 million USD. I did find an unassuming home for sale at $600,000 which is surely more reasonable. You can search for them on the Coldwell Banker Jamaica website today.
When we visited the Grand Cayman Islands we decided to take a snorkel tour of the reef. As we stepped onto the small boat that would take us to our snorkel destination we drifted slowly down a canal. There were some homes for sale here too, but everything in Caymans is expensive. A gallon of gasoline was almost $6.00. Our last stop was Cozumel, where we just relaxed at the beach all day. They did have homes for sale in Cozumel that were in more reasonable price ranges.
