A surprise awaits you at the Airport industrial park just outside of the Kingman Arizona city limits on highway 66. Finding a boutique Distillery here is exciting but like everything on highway 66 surprises are around every corner. Owned by the Patt family and opened in April of 2010, the Distillery makes clear Rum, Vodka, Dark Rum, and Agave Rum. Each of these Spirits are sold under their Gold Miner label. They are open for tours and tastings Monday through Saturday starting at 10am. They close at 5pm Monday through Thursday, but stay open until 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Requests for Sunday tours are taken by phone, and must be scheduled ahead of time
Visitors are welcomed into a restive retail area that features their famous bar that came out of a restaurant on the old Las Vegas strip. The bar was frequented by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack among others. Make sure you get pictures of your family or group bellying up to this famous bar! Peter and John Patt will take you on a tour of the production area and answer any questions you may have on the distilling process. Seeing a Arnold Holstein still, with it's hand hammered sheets of copper, close up is awe inspiring and educational. After your tour, you are welcome to a taste of what Desert Diamond Distillery has to offer, at the famous tasting bar. Our retail area is filled with unique items for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions. Just four minutes from I-40 and highway 66 going towards Peach Springs will bring you to the turn for the Kingman Airport and industrial complex. Turn right into the airport, go through the four way stop sign and take the third right onto Olympic Drive. They are the Red building on the left.
