2011 December Blogging Challenge-Muldowney

Good Morning All,

Busy day ahead, two days basically out of the office attending a portion of my Auctioneer's Licensing Class in Massachusetts and hopefully New Hampshire too! have left me playing catch up (again).

I am wondering why it took me so long, so very long to really understand how a planned process of taking action even on the simpliest of items makes the job so much easier.

The other morning as I walked into the kitchen (and surprise to me my husband had not left for work yet) I did what I was programmed for..turned on the light...but it was already on.   That one step had become part of my daily routine as I headed for the hot water kettle...as I do daily without even thinking about it.   I realized how many things I get done just by being on automatic pilot doing the things one by one two by two constantly and obtaining the results I want.

Where does all that go?

It made it a top of my mind that I must start to put down on paper the process to accomplish something which will make my life easier but also that of the agents in my office.  Those simply directives will make everyone's life easier, whether it be taking a listing contract, requesting a commission statement etc.   They are the things I say and do over and over again and If there was a written directive how much easier it would be for everyone!

I intend on doing this on my listings as well.  I repeat the same information over and over again to other agents and buyers (although I do want the face to face or voice to voice contact and enjoy that).  I must manage my time better and make sure everyone gets the same details over and over again.

Today my goal is to put a process together for this process (along with playing catch up!)

Also question I could not use just 2011 december blogging challenge as a title, that is why the muldowney added, any solutions to that?
