Write Your Own Story and Find Your ‘Whys’

 

After you've made a decision to lose weight, it’s time to write your own story. Writing your own story is about finding your ‘whys’-- the reasons you want to lose weight!!  Writing your own story means finding experiences from your own life which will inspire you to lose weight and writing them down.  Be realistic about who you are and what you want to change.  Write about whatever will motivate you to lose weight, either positive or negative.

 

My story took a period of time to write.  I looked at experiences in my life that were occurring and wrote about them and how losing weight would improve my life. You may choose to do the same or simply make a list of reasons why you want to lose weight.
