I give an “abrazo” to a lot of people I know do you?

Not only do I give one I like receiving them also.  It makes me feel warm and when I get one from certain people I feel loved.  I think to give this to someone you are meeting for the first time is OK in some instances.  So I guess you would like to know the meaning of (a b ra’ tho) is an embrace or hug when greeting a person.  So do you like to give or receive an abrazo?  What say you?

Hi James,

I don't know about a "abrazo" with someone I have just met. But when I get to meet you in person for the first time look out my friend. An "abrazo is coming your way" LOL

Have a very good day in Rogers, Arkansas.

Best, Clint McKie

Depends upon the circumstances! Sometimes it can be akward and sometimes it feels natural. Prefer the later. Giving or reveiving an "abrazo" sounds out of place! Enjoy your day!

James - great comment.  To build on Pamela's comment: "Several sources suggest that everyone needs at least four hugs a day for healthy survival, eight hugs a day for emotional strength, and 12 hugs a day to really grow and be empowered." from a study by University of North Carolina as reported:

Abrazos to all!

When you say A-BRA-THO you are really speaking Castellan!  They say it that way in Spain and Argentina.  Every where else it's A-BRA-SO.
