Calendars, Calendars, Calendars....Day 9

It seems every year the list gets longer and longer as to who we send out Calendars to!

I have sent out Magnetic Refrigerator Calendars for years...Dad working on Calendars

Today I spent the day with Dad....

He came over to the office early and we worked on them all morning!  

They aren't quite done as I am still tweaking the list a bit but I will get them mailed out on Monday..,. the balance will be delivered to my neighbors!   

After that I treated him to lunch and then we did a bit of Christmas Shopping.....

Nothing like spending the day with Dad!!!! 

(I apologize for the picture as I had to sneak taking it with my phone....he hates having his picture taken!!!)

Deborah, you already have one of the best Christmas gifts right there with you.  It's that good-lookin' guy with the hat goin' through the box of calendars.

How wonderful for you, and how wonderful for your Dad, as well.  Treasure every single minute of your time together.  How I would love to spend just one more day with my Dad (or my Mom.)   I am guessing that my Mom is up at the North Pole helping Santa, and Dad has probably snuck off with Santa's helpers... and they're watching ESPN somewhere.  <smile>

Deborah:  I forgot to mention it, but while reading your post I noticed your "new" profile picture.  I don't know how recently you put this one up, but what a great picture.  You are growing younger by the minute.  How do you DO it ?  <smile>

LOL   I don't like my picture taken either....must be hereditary!!!  LOL

Karen Anne....I know what a blessing he is....he has had a few medical issues that are getting resolved now and he is doing great....2 months ago I didn't think he would be able to ever help me!!!  So nice to "have" my Dad back!!!   Thanks for liking my picture....it was taken when I went to the NAR convention in Anaheim last month and combined a trip to Laguna Beach to stay with a friend!   She always manages to take at least one good picture of me....of course it took about 500 tries!   LOL   (I only put it up a few days ago)

Way to go Deb and great job sneaking a pic of Dad!  Enjoy him and take as many pictures as you can.  I sure miss my Dad.  Good job on getting those calendars ready to mail.  Debbie and I got ours out thank goodness!

How great that your Dad was able to spend some time with you and helped get your calendars ready to go out. I miss our nephews that moved to Oro Valley, AZ that used to help us each year with our calendars - now I just give that job to Lee :)

Hi Deborah - Of course you list gets longer every year as your sphere of influence expands!  Think if you were mailing them to all of your ActiveRain friends--as you sphere of influence has just exploded!  Be sure to use a hand truck when getting those to the post office!

Joan...it was a lot of fun and we got a lot done....the best kind of day!!

Carol....that sounds like a great plan!!!  LOL

Tom...Dad and I have gotten really close in the past years.....it is nice!!

Cheryl...I am so sorry for your loss! I cherish the times I have with my dad for sure and would miss him greatly!!!
