I have a listing on a house very similar to mine just down the street. Our homes were built by the same builder 
back in 1978-- and the listing is still in original condition. It is a project... and it needs work-- but it has huge potential. We re-modeled our similar home several years ago and love our Casa Schowe hacienda! Who better to sell that house than I?
Today I showed my listing to a young couple from Orange County and their parents-- and after spending a good hour looking around the house, and walking the neighborhood-- I invited them to come take a look at our home. They were grateful to have a glimpse at our ideas and to see the ways that we updated the home, while still keeping the hacienda charm.
It isn't the first time I have done this... so my husband is never surpised when I bring strangers home to check out our house. He knows I am doing my best to sell my listing down the street!
