The Financial District, often abbreviated to FiDi by residents of Manhattan, is truly the heart of the American economy. This district, located at the southern tip of the Manhattan borough, holds most of New York’s major financial institution, such as the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ headquarters and the Federal Bank Reserve of New York.
