Woodbury MN Homes for Sale Dec. 2011 - Durham Executive Group
As a real estate agent I like to stay up on housing trends for Woodbury MN. Subsequently, my research this morning (see below graph) shows me that while home depreciation in Woodbury has continued there are some positives. My research clearly indicates that the number of Woodbury MN homes for sale Dec. 2011 has declined steadily for the past two years. What you see below is that there has been a 9.7% decline on the number of homes for sale over the past twelve month period.
The positive in this statistic is the old supply and demand equation. With the continued decline in the number of Woodbury MN homes on the market we are starting to see a more balanced housing market in Woodbury. Currently there is a 6 months' supply of homes for Woodbury meaning we are getting closer to what we call a balanced Woodbury housing market.
Keep in mind that we sell homes all year and not just in the spring. Sometimes home sellers mistakenly believe you cannot sell a home in the winter months, but that isn't the case. In fact, there is a lot less competition as many people pull their homes off the market until spring.
