December's Season of Celebrations and Sharing - Fundraiser for CanTree
December is a time for reflection, gratitude for all our blessings and giving back.
The South County REALTOR® Association (SCRA)has been busy collecting money and food for the less fortunate in our communities.
The economic downturn has affected us all but has hit hard among some families in our community who have lost homes and a sense of security. The SCRA is part of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® and as I mentioned before they have been collecting food and money. The CanTree food drive, raffles twice a week at local association meetings for the past month and the holiday breakfast last week which included performance by our amazingly talented Gilroy High School choir.
We have great and supportive businesses and generous REALTORS® in our community who have donated time, raffle prices and money to this worthy cause.
