Community Recreation Centers in Golden
Residents of Golden know that their community is the best! To foster that sense of community, the City of Golden created the Golden Community Center! A recreational facility in Lions Park, the Community Center has everything you may want or need to promote a healthy neighborhood and lifestyle.
This state of the art recreation center houses two indoor swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, a large fitness area, gym, track, climbing wall, various classrooms, and more. The community pool has slides, waterworks, and obstacles that bring out the kid in all of us. There is also an activity area with a small climbing wall, near the front of the Community Center just for kids. Classes are available year round for children; it won’t be a recreational activity because they will want to come every day!
If you are looking for a serious workout, the Community Center in Golden has that covered too. The fitness area has the newest equipment and free weights available. To spice up your recreation routine, try the climbing wall! You can pick up a community game of basketball or volleyball in the gym, find firm footing away from the snow in the indoor track, or find your center in a yoga class. There is so much to do!
The Community Center in Golden has classes in the arts like writing, pottery, or foreign language too. If you are looking for a new meeting place for your community outreach program, this recreational center has meeting and banquet rooms available too.
