I am planning my 2007 goals now. Every year, I write down my goals on a piece of paper, napkin, coffee cup sleeve or whatever, then save this paper and look at a few times throughout the year. Usually I sit down on New Years day or during the down time around the holidays and get some chance to do this. If you haven't tried it, do the following:
- Write down, (take about 5 minutes or less) the "no holds barred" optimistic goals for 2007. Write out 10 items.
- Circle the one that is most important to you and write that goal down on a separate piece of paper and carry it with you.
- Read over the 10 items and attach it toyour December 2007 planner.
- Next december, check out how much you have achieved! Youw will be amazed.
The secret here is giving your mind permission to carry you in the direction of these goals.
