I truly mean this. The world is what we make it, and "This Year" at "This Time" we need to work very hard to make it the best.

It was tough getting my 2 horse power sleigh out this year. BTW the gable vent is just decorative.
I inspected a 2.5 story built in 1862 just about a month ago. Didn't look like the one above, but had some real issues. Funny how back in the 1800's that was at the cutting edge of building technology.
Jack I am thinking there might be some "artistic license" with the gable vent at the chimney :) Your message is truly on the money however.
