Real Estate Plan For 2012

I would like to know if any Realtors have a business plan for 2012? If so, how is it different than yours from 2011. Did you add more prospecting time, decide to blog more or is it all about the same. I always have a plan, because I am a person who has trouble sitting still, so focus is a problem for me. Therefore, I need direction or better yet, instructions I can look at through out the day that I know I need to complete these task. I am planning my 2012 Real Estate plan now....so I would like some feedback from all my Realtor friends, as to what ideas have worked or not worked for you.

I may be reiterating what you already know, but here are my thoughts and ideas.

Start big-what are your 2012 goals; financially, business, family, contribution, health?  Make them SMART goals-Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic, Time-sensitive.

Block off vacation time FIRST.

Break the 2012 goals down to monthly goals.  Break the monthly goals into weekly action steps.

I find that time-blocking works for me.  One hour of phone calls, one hour to catch up on emails, one hour to blast out my to-do list of miscellaneous tasks, etc.

Since 2012 is going to be a shorter year (the world will end on Dec. 21) I am planning to achieve all my goals before then so I won't be disappointed when the calamity hits us.
