'Tis the season to be jolly, and with all of the holiday preparations and rushing for year end settlements, Active Rain bloggers still found time to write some posts, both jolly and informative. So here goes:

1. Gary Woltal: Those Wacky RETIREE People And The Purina Diet Today, I'll start off with one that shows off Gary's jolly and quirky sense of humor.

2. Liz & Bill Spear: Can You Go Too Far Updating Your Home? This was part of a three part series with advice we all could use.

3. Chris Sanderson: Is Your Bank Stealing Your Money While You’re At Biaggi’s Drinking Beer? This one lives up to its title.

4. Barb Szabo: My Third Annual Christmas Poem! This is one with a happy ending! Thank you for the smile, Barb!

5. Brian Block: How to Size up a Home in 8 Minutes or Less This is one to print out and include in our buyer information packets.

6. Jennifer Fivelsdal: Red Hook Real Estate Market Report For November 2011 Not your ordinary old market report. Jennifer makes it interesting.

7. Roger Mucci: Take It Off In The Rain answer to "Two Lies and A Truth" and our "Star Of The Week Roger, can I come, too?

8. Caterina Bannier: When Men Were Still Handy, Part II Cati has a great series going on the local kit homes, mostly from the Sears Catalog.

9. Paula McDonald: THE GIFT OF A KIND WORD I just loved this post! It was sweet and a great reminder of how easy it can be to make someone's day.

10. Clint Miller: Things I Learned From Having Boys!! Oh, Clint! I'll really miss your sense of humor around this place. And this is a post for your sons to cherish as they grow up.

That's all for today. I have to do a little work and get ready for yet another holiday party! See you back here next Sunday. Or should I take Christmas off?

Pat, I can see why this post got Featured. This was a good compilation. I did not know of Clint Miller, but it seems he is sorely missed here on Active Rain. His article on the sons, I could identify with on multiple levels, even back to my childhood and what my parents went through.
