Technology Is Wonderful

Real Estate Agent with Jim Free Realty

Last Wednesday I left beautiful Panama City Beach for my hometown of Rome, GA to visit with friends and relatives during the Christmas Holidays. As most of you in the real estate business know we really don’t get off days during the holidays and weekends. This year I decided I was going to do things a little different because in the past the week following Christmas was hectic trying to catch up.

I called my son and daughter and asked them if they had an extra office in their real estate office I could use. They did and I packed up my Mac, I phone and I pad and headed for Rome. On the way up while my wife was driving I used the I pad to keep up with our e-mails and used the I phone to keep up with the phone calls. As soon as I arrived in Rome I set up the Mac and started handling leads. For some of you this may not sound like a fun vacation but for A types like myself this is wonderful.

Hey Jim, way to make use of technology.  Sounds like the family is pretty understanding of your work ethic during the holiday season.  Best of success to you and Merry Christmas!

Absolutely!  Thanks to technology, with the exception of meeting clients and customer face to face, we can take our business with us.

I'm with you! My wife and I left North Carolina on Friday to visit family in Florida for two weeks and we have finalized one offer and negotiating a second as I write this. Technology allows us to be COMPLETELY mobile...I love it.
