SUNDAY BLESSINGS ~ The Week Before Christmas
It is hard to believe that Christmas will be here this time next week. We have been busy with decorations, parties, gift buying and the overall hustle and bustle of the season. I am sitting here looking at our beautiful tree and trying to soak in the simple blessings of the season.
Here are some of my simple Christmas blessings:
- A child's smile as they gaze at the Christmas tree.
- Singing Christmas carols.
- Driving around to look at the festive lights.
- Christmas Eve church services.
- Making Christmas cookies.
- Simply watching a baby sleep.
- Hot cocoa with marshmallows.
- Watching classic Christmas movies.
- Visiting friends.
- Our families to love.
There are so many others. Writing them down is good food for the soul. Hope you are taking in all of the simple things about Christmas! Blessings!
