I'm not a fan. But I play one on TV (or, in this case, on the MLS).

You've heard it once, you've heard it a million time -- "Your first showing will be on the Internet."

So it's essential that you stage for your photographs. People will make a snap decision on whether they really want to visit your home in person based on what they see on the Internet!

All of these are from ONE local MLS listing!

Please move the fan. It will take three seconds. That fan makes your home look like it's way too hot.

Gosh, I meant move it out of the picture!! Well, let's move on to the dining room.

But please don't trip over the fan on your way in! I feel a little winded. I think I'll head up to the bedroom.

Hmmm, is that a fan by the bed? It's kind of hard to see.

I do believe it is! I think I need to go somewhere more calming. And less windy.

Oh, my!

The sad thing is, I'm sure this home could have had a better showing on the Internet with some simple rearranging and a better eye for good photography.

Your home's photographs will be the number one deciding factor on whether people visit in person.
