Lake GlenvilleLake Glenville, North Carolina - Lake Homes for Sale

Life is great in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina! There is no better way to beat the summer heat of the Southeast than enjoying  a cool mountain waterfall or swimming at incredible Lake Glenville. The Highlands-Cashiers Plateau offers so much for everyone!  This place is the perfect mountain retreat from the summer heat of the Southeast, or just to escape from the rush of everyday life.  Our summer weather is perfect, with high’s typically in the mid 70’s to help enjoy outdoor adventures, and cool mountain nights to allow enjoyment of an outdoor fireplace.

Lake GlenvilleLake Glenville

Lake Glenville, the highest major lake in the Eastern US, is another amazing outdoor amenity of the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau.  Lake Glenville begins just 3 miles north of the Cashiers Crossroads and has over 26 miles of shoreline.  Featuring a multitude of incredible feeding waterfalls, multiple islands to explire and nearly 1500 acres of surface area, a summer day touring Lake Glenville is as good as it gets!  The Lake is also an angler’s delight with bass, walleye, trout and many other species to pursue. Wildlife abounds this lake and if you get lucky you may just see a bear swim across.

Lake Glenville Community Dock

Lakefront homes enjoy an incredible lakefront views and direct lake access typically with a floating dock.  There are not ever many lakefront homes for sale to choose from, typically around 30 for sale on the entire lake at any given time.  Many communities, like Trillium Links & Lake club and The Lake Club offer community boat dockage and clubhouses.  Finally, enjoy the best lake and mountain views around from a Lake View home.  Lake Glenville is a public lake with multiple public boat launches and marinas for all to enjoy!
