This time of the year we have our best success with credit restoration. The law states that all responses to the credit bureaus, collection companies, etc. must be within 30 days. This time of year people are missing work because of illness due to cold weather, vacations and other reasons. This leaves the companies short handed to respond as needed within the 30 days. Many times they will now have the man power to do the research to validate as needed. If something derogatory on a credit report cannot be validated it needs to be removed. When this is removed from the report the amount owed can no longer be collected. If it is not reported, it cannot be collected. Many people we work with have much debt removed from their credit reports. Besides the debt being removed and eliminated, the credit scores will go up with that derogatory line being removed.
