Douglasville offers some exciting choices for homebuyers interested in a new Swim/Tennis Community. The current downturn in the market has been hard on some developments but many of these active lifestyle communities have proven that they know what buyers want and continue to sell well. I have a client currently looking in RiverWalk Douglasville, I was doing some research on the latest activity there and was surprised to find that they have not seemed to slow down much at all.
Tributary GA and Brookmont continue to outpace the competition, these Swim/Tennis Communities are the two fastest selling developments in Georgia. Ryland Homes, Patrick Malloy Communities, and Homelife Communities are currently building in Brookmont. The combination of stylish architecture and gracious amenities have proven to be big winners with homebuyers. The Estates at Ansbury Park are another great option in the Douglasville Swim/Tennis portfolio, some homes there were recently reduced $20K-$40K as well. Offering over $1M in community amenities, Whitestone was awarded the Silver Award for Best Amenities from The Greater Atlanta Homebuilder's Association. Whitestone's incredible package includes over 43 acres of greenspace, junior Olympic pool with mushroom fountain, basketball court,2 tennis courts, clubhouse, fitness center with dressing rooms and showers, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, and more. These communities deliver on the promise of an active lifestyle, Tributary GA is located adjacent to Sweetwater Creek State Park and RiverWalk is next to Dog River Park, both of these communities offering easy access to even larger outdoor playgrounds. Brookmont is nestled up against Chapel Hill Golf & Country Club.
While these swim/tennis communities may be selling well in comparison to other developments in the area, these builders have still had a relatively slow year and there are some great standing inventory homes that are move-in ready.
