Short Sales - What are they?  This is basically an agreement between seller and lending institution to accept less than what is owed on a mortgage.  Hardship-- such as relocation, loss of job, health, divorce -- all these and more can contribute to why you might find yourself in a short sale situation.  I am happy to help with these preliminary questions and share resources regarding loan modifications, etc. if that might be of help to you.  Often, just listing your home for fair market price is the first step!
