Return Of Three Minute Real Estate: HOA Home Owner’s Association. Short videos promoting a common understanding of real estate fostering real estate education and a greater understanding one word at a time.

Real estate has it’s own jargon, it’s own colloquialisms, both industrially, locally, with-in individual offices and often unique to individual agents. Hopefully together we can promote a common understanding, one word at a time.

Bill - I did not have any problems with the video, so you fixed it. Often time there is too much fuss about HOA. The very same people who bitch about too strict HOA tend to forget that loosening the rules may result in something that they do not like and it may have the adverse affect on them.

Like you said, wold they want a neighbor get to do whatever they want, which may affect the quality of life and the value of the property.

Whating some standards is why people buy in HOA communities. Do not want restrictions, do not buy.

But you are right that Board Members often tend to become disctators and change the HOA rules, or become simply unreasonable and hostile to owners.

Activism is dangerous and contagious. So, as you say, checking the minutes can give you some idea of the climate on the board and the direction they are taking
