Hello! Got all your Christmas shopping done yet? What about stocking up on groceries for this weekend? I am really looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. I work too much and do not get to see them as much as I want. But that is my fault isn't it?
Last night, I was trying to wrap things up and I saw an article posted to my Facebook wall about how SC State Senator Bryant agrees with a study that recommends that real estate agents in SC do NOT need to be licensed. Now I am not sure about you, but to me this is one of the dumbest ideas I have heard in along time.
If there is no accountability for those practicing real estate then the number of scam artists preying on home buyers and sellers will literally explode.
I understand that Sen. Bryant is looking for ways to cut government spending. Which is great. However, there needs to be licensing for real estate agents in South Carolina. If anything, the requirements to become an agent needs to be raised AND the requirements to remain licensed needs to be raised.
