Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church South Built 1894 In Nokesville

Asbury Methodist Episcopal South in Nokesville is one of the many historic churches in Prince William County. There is very little documentation available except that seen on the marker that stands in front of the church. Photographing and researching these churches has given me the opportunity to better understand the early residents of Prince William County.

I just love historic buildings, Karen. This one is really interesting and looks well-maintained. It has the pioneer spirit look.

Hi Karen. Historical churches played a big park in the growth of our nation. I am sure Asbury Methodist Church played a big part in the culture and history for Prince William County. Nice photo too.

Selling Homes Changing Lives

Karen,

This is another great blog post. I love old churches and to read about their history too. Many years ago, I took pictures of as many churches in Maine as I could. It's really fascinating to read about the history and to think about what it meant to the people who lived at that time.

This is history that should not be forgotten.

Patricia
