She has filled us with joy and delight for more than 14 years. We never want her to leave but we know the time is coming soon. Her fur is still silky soft and her face, her beautiful face is breaking our hearts. None of this seems possible…we want it to be a bad dream that we can wake up from. Oh Lazer, you are so loved.
AWWW... you're breaking my heart... I hope she stays with you a long time still... Our old guy passed last year but he was 20 years old!! it is always hard to say good bye

Sheila, a lifetime would be too short. Our sweet friend rules the house and I wonder how the dynamics will change when Lazer moves on. Thank you for understanding.
Clint, you've been through this with your dog and it is so hard when all they can speak to us with is their eyes.
Judy, I'm so grateful you and Tom have come into our lives. Your heart is genuine and warm. We can't wait until the right place is located for you here. We may have given a home, food, care and love to Lazer but it isn't a drop in the bucket compared to what she's given us.
Sheila, thank you. I'm answering you with tears of my own. We vacillate between reluctant and calm acceptance of our fur family never living as long as us to absolute raging grief at the thought of soon not being able to look into her eyes and stroke her silky fur.
