IPad Discoveries Christmas Day, Yeah!

Thanks to our ActiveRain EverNote Santa for this sweet present.  EverNote is my obsession for the upcoming year.  I already have all my old files cover sheets accessible on EverNote, and have mostly eliminated my bulky planner!

Okay, in no particular order, here are some cool tools I learned after playing on my iPad Christmas Day.

First of all, Quick Office integrates with Evernote.

Check page 30 of the instruction manual here to learn the steps. You simply press the plus button and add your passcode to link them.

Let me do Realtor Speak. In other words, you can have a spreadsheet as one example, modify it, and change it in Evernote. Poof, done! YUM.

Or do the same with Quick Office and Google Docs, Mobile Me, Box etc.

Second, I explored all the apps under featured that were 2011 Rewind Hits and added a bunch. Tons are Free. Yippee!

I picked the app of the year which does photo editing on the iPad called Snapseed.

Third, I decided since my Mom, a.k.a. affectionately dubbed by the Family as Weather Bureau, may need a break from my weather phone call inquiries, I downloaded three of the most popular weather apps. The fact that one had 12,000 report card ratings gave a clue that it would become a favorite.

Fourth, I explored some of the top grossing and top rated apps and got a kick out of this and that. Catalogs by Google stood out because it hosts Eddie Bauer CATALOGS among many others.

Fifth, the thing the got me started playing all day in my iPad was the JUST RELEASED Skitch. It works with Evernote. Bottom line, you have a Snag It type tool on your iPad that integrates with Evernote. So grab photos, snatch website sections, copy a screenshot and send what's  special to you to Evernote for safekeeping.

These are my top favorite tips after hours of playing on my iPad. Bet you're glad to just get the tips so you can zip on over to grab a few NEW Realtor useful apps. P.S. Come back for more useful Realtor apps! I get a kick out of discovering them. Anything that works with Evernote gets my vote! Did you know you can scan from your Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner straight in to Evernote? As in all your contracts? Wowee!

cheryl - It's in my top one for now!.  Last night for our Christmas dinner with family, I started talking about it, and totally monopolized the conversation.... my bro-in-law and nephew were like deer caught in headlights!  No escape.

I am so looking forward to encorporating it into my business storage and information management this year.
