e-PRO, what does that mean?
It may sound simple, but it really means a lot more to me. I got my e-PRO designation, courtesy of the National Association of REALTORS, more as a validation of my current skills and to enhance my expertise. I use the internet and social media to help broadcast houses for sale to as many people as possible. I use my knowledge of best practices, in combination with the REALTOR Code of Ethics, and in accordance with the laws that govern real estate agents and brokers in the places I do business. That e-PRO next to my name means I know how to do it, and do it right.
Did I need to get the designation?
Some might say "No", but I say "Yes!" Today, a vast majority of consumers start their housing search online. That means that a superior online presence will get your house seen by more people, more often. That online presence comes from a combination of advertising/marketing, blogging, photography/videography, social media interaction, search engine optimization, and other tech savvy jargon (I won't bore you with all the details.) But the bottom line is: when people are online looking for homes for sale they need to see yours, and we make sure that they do.
