For 2012 I want a better Me. Years ago I took the Dale Carnegie Course and lived the basic rules but I want to improve and next year will focus on three of the basic ten rules; (1) Don't Criticize, Condemn or Complain (2) Show sincere Appreciation and (3) Smile. It makes me feel better when I am living life this way and these are my big goals. Actually if I really work on number 2 and 3 then number 1 won't be necessary. And, my action plan is..

I plan to give all I can in 2012. I don't have money to give but I can give of time and talent. Currently each week I involved with Reading Partners, the Salvation Army, and the Exchange Club for giving activities. But I can do so much more.
When we opened Mortgage Magic 22 years ago we opened with the policy that all employees had to do some community service work. We let them decide what projects to support but we did require that they volunteer. We received a real unexpected benefit; the people who joined us were simply good people and they have stayed with us all these years.
Like everyone I want to be happy, stress free, and feel good. I think by focusing on giving that I will reach these goals - if not, then I will at least know I made a difference.
