When our family had a TRUCK * I bought real trees - one for my office and one for my home and recycled them.  Once we no longer had a truck - SUVs and MINI - we went with FAUX trees.  REcycling them is a great way to teach children the process!

Hi Tom, Christmas trees are much like yard waste.  They can and should be recycled.  Good thing that people in your area have several places to take these.

It is hard to get a real tree, if you don't have a means of getting it home.  :)
Back when I had my first tree, I saw that the tree could be recycled. I thought that was a good idea and have looked for ways to cleanly get rid of my tree ever since. I think my boys have learned that in the process too.
Thanks Wallace.

You are right Silvia. With so many places to bring a tree, it would be silly not to recycle it. But we still see trees thrown in the wrong places.

If I had a real tree, I'd head over there with it.  I think it's great that there are places to help dispose of these in a clean manner.  Chipping is the perfect solution.

It is a good things Doug. I hope that people take advantage of the limited timeframe to bring their trees in. It's not so easy after that window.

Thanks for the comment.
